Through a blend of comedy and storytelling, she explores her first brush with racism in a country that prides itself on tolerance, while reflecting on the irony of having lived life in India with all the comfort and invisibility that comes from being the oppressor. From battling sexism in India to facing racism in the Netherlands, this show invites you to walk an hour in her (big) shoes to laugh, to reflect, and to maybe see the world a little differently.

MC: Swar Joshi

Swar is a Utrecht-based comedian who could've been Amsterdam-based if he could afford it. Swar exaggerates life's minor irritations and trivialises existential crises. His comedy can be defined as “chaotic, cynical, and full of complaints - all performed by a happy, hyperactive human”. If you think you've done something stupid, Swar has probably already topped that.

With a knack for punching up the patriarchy, calling out body shaming, and chasing validation from strangers, Archana’s comedy is unapologetic, dark, and bold. She’s mildly famous for voicing the unpopular opinion on motherhood—both her therapists have proofread this bio.
